Adult Registered Volunteers Needed for the following positions (Reminder that all Volunteer Applications and Background Disclosure forms must be submitted prior to participation in any of these positions):

Open Positions:

    • Troop 344 Meeting Assistants
      • Attend troop meetings regularly to assist leaders with activities

    • Troop 344 Rep to Service Unit
        • Requirements: attend monthly 1-hour Service Unit meeting in Girard to keep our troop informed of GSNEO events
    • Chaperones / drivers for upcoming events - see sign-ups at troop meetings

Members Identified for the Following Positions, but can add more :

    • Chaperones
      • We must adhere to the proper ratio of adults to girls according to Safety-Wise for events and field trips. It would really help us plan if we have a pool of members who would be willing to volunteer for this so we don’t have to call upon the same people for everything. If you are willing to sign-up to be called upon from time-to-time, please let us know. Drivers

      • Completion of the driver form is required prior to participating.

Filled Positions:

    • Troop 344 Communications
      • Make phone calls as needed to quickly distribute information to the troop
      • Make communications (email / phone calls) to keep parents informed
    • Fall Product Sales Chair
      • Requirements: attend a training along with the troop leaders at the September monthly Service Unit meeting; coordinate training at a September troop meeting; distribute and collect materials from troop; accurately use the electronic tool for entering orders and awards for troop; work with troop leaders to pick-up, sort, and distribute products, assist with collection of money from parents/girls.
    • Cookie Sales Chair
      • Requirements: attend a training along with the troop leaders at the November or December monthly Service Unit meeting; coordinate training at a December troop meeting; distribute and collect materials from troop; accurately use the electronic tool for entering orders and awards for troop; work with troop leaders to pick-up, sort, and distribute cookies, assist with collection of money from parents/girls.
    • Webmaster
      • Provide continuous website updates and maintenance, and design changes as needed.
