The scouts who are continuing with us during their high school years have been scout members for 6 - 12 years. We still have 2 of our charter members with us who each have 12 years of membership in our troop. Two of our members have continued with us through high school graduation. Working with this troop has been an amazing experience!

Check back with us to see what projects we are completing next!

What an amazing experience!

Congratulations to Rachel Ward, an Ambassador level scout member of Troop 344 who recently earned her Girl Scout Gold Award!  Rachel is a recent graduate of McDonald High School who partnered with Heavenly Beginnings Preschool in McDonald, OH to design and implement her gold project.  For her project Rachel designed, planned and implemented an "Outdoor Classroom" for use at the preschool.  More details are forthcoming on our website.  Stay tuned!

"We are very proud of Rachel for implementing such a wonderful concept at Heavenly Beginnings Preschool.  She definitely worked hard to complete her project and earn her Gold Award!"

Ambassador Scout Rachel Ward Earns Girl Scout Gold Award!

The five members of Senior / Ambassador Troop 80344 completed Phase II of the "Plant"iful Garden located in McDonald Village. The scouts expanded their original project from 2012 to include more space, raised flower planters and bench seating for the residents to enjoy as they garden or just be outdoors with nature. The village and scouts greatly appreciate the support from Millwood, Inc., and for Lee Evans, Manager-Sourcing of Millwood attending our dedication ceremony along with McDonald Village Administrator Thomas Domitrovich.
