The scouts who are continuing with us during their high school years have been scout members for 4 - 12 years. We still have 2 of our charter members with us who each have 10 years of membership in our troop. Working with this troop has been an amazing experience!

Check back with us to see what projects we are completing next!

SERVICE PROJECTS

Service to others has become our primary focus during our high school years.  We have been recognized the past 8 years with earning the President's Volunteer Service Award (6 years at the Gold level)!  All 5 scouts in the troop have earned their Silver Awards!

The five members of Senior / Ambassador Troop 80344 earned their 8th President's Volunteer Service Award; six at the Gold Level!  In addition to receiving the gold level pin, official recognition certificate, and a letter signed by Former President Barak Obama, the students also were given certificates from Ohio Representative Glenn Holmes, and the Offices of Ohio Senator Sean O'Brien and US Representative Tim Ryan! The troop has worked with several organizations to serve others. Projects ranged from local to global.

"We always receive support from our local community, state and US government officials to recognize the great work these students do year after year"

The Journey Continues

Seniors and Ambassadors

The five members of Senior / Ambassador Troop 80344 completed Phase II of the "Plant"iful Garden located in McDonald Village. The scouts expanded their original project from 2012 to include more space, raised flower planters and bench seating for the residents to enjoy as they garden or just be outdoors with nature. The village and scouts greatly appreciate the support from Millwood, Inc., and for Lee Evans, Manager-Sourcing of Millwood attending our dedication ceremony along with McDonald Village Administrator Thomas Domitrovich.
